The dead body of a patient in his mid thirties from the E ward at the Bamenda regional hospital has been found close to the maternity section within the hospital premises.

His lifeless body was found this Monday 18th November 2019 by 6:30pm with a tight fitting black rope on his neck which seems to be the murder weapon. Sources say he was yet to be discharged so went out for a walk yesterday Sunday but never came back until this evening when his corpse was discovered. The hospital authorities have taken the body away but cause of death is yet to be known.

It should be known that the population of the North West Regional of Cameroon live in fear as insecurity is the order of the day. This insecurity has been an issue since November 2016 as the English speaking parts of Cameroon have been clamoring for independence. In the course of these three years, extrajudicial killings have made the news headlines.
