The Cameroon Radio and Television (CRTV) journalist Mélanie Betebe died this 13th March 2019 in Paris, France. She died at the age of forty eight and as reports put it, she left Cameroon for Paris for sanitary evacuation and was carried away by aneurysm.

Mélanie Betebe Félicité was born on the 10th of September 1971 at Mfida. After graduating from college, she spent three years in the University of Yaoundé 1 studying Psychology and obtained a certificate in ESSTIC in 1999. Besides being a journalist, she was honored for producing magazines like “Femme à la une” since 2004. A journal that was meant for the promotion of women.  While working with the Cameroon radio and television, she was in charge of the newspaper “Barométre” and the program “Scene de presse”.

Farewell to Mélanie and condolences to the family of the bereaved and most especially to Cameroon radio and television that has lost a great and talented journalist. More condolences to Cameroon in particular that has lost this admirable presenter. For sure, we will terribly miss her. May her soul rest in perfect peace!
